Today, Aug. 13, is International Left-handers’ Day.
There are many people who share this special trait that once was taboo in many societies. I’m a left-hander and proud of it. If you’re a left-hander, you’re in good company.
Here are a few famous left-handers you may have read about: Albert Einstein, Napoleon Bonaparte, Julius Caesar, Aristotle, Neil Armstrong, Henry Ford, Marie Curie, Joan of Arc, Helen Keller
Presidents: James Garfield, Herbert Hoover, Harry Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama.
Actors: Leonardo Da Vinci, Kim Basinger, Pierce Brosnan, Charlie Chaplin, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Judy Garland, Whoopi Goldberg, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Val Kilmer, Marilyn Monroe, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, Sylvester Stallone, Chewbacca the Wookie.
Musicians: David Bowie, Celine Dion, Eminem, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Annie Lennox, Sir Paul McCartney, and Sting.
The list goes on and on.
Feel free to add the names of any left-handers you admire below (other than me, of course) lol
