Nik photo editing plug–ins are FREE!

Google’s Nik Collection of desktop image editing plug-ins is now free! Yes, free! Nik’s Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, HDR Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro and Dfine apps are all available as a free download from Google, which used to charge $150 to buy it.

Click here and then click “download” to get your free version of Nik photo editing software..

Nik’s applications put a focus on ease of use and accessibility, compatible with Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture. The company was purchased by Google in 2012, and prior to that each program cost around $100 for a total of up to $500 for the software suite.

I just found out about this and downloaded it for my Mac.

Here’s a copy of a photo I did in about 2 minutes.

Nik is also good for converting black and white photos and making them look like they are shot on film.

I know it sounds too good to be true. But I did it and you can too.

You’re welcome.
