Today is Day 14 of my self-imposed , 77-day (11 week) Boot Camp.
Can’t believe it’s already been two weeks! Time is rushing by incredibly fast.
Being more active every day has improved my mood immensely. I feel better, think clearer and have more energy!
Working out actually GIVES you energy. It’s true!
In addition to my daily workouts, I’ve been busy mowing the lawn, trimming shrubs, fixing leaky swamp coolers, washing my car, working on expanding my photography business and learning how to keep up with steady growth.
I’m whirling around the house like Dennis the Menace in a tornado of activity. Before I started this fitness program, I needed a nap on most afternoons.
My wife, Tammy Hansen White, has been major inspiration during the development of this Boot Camp adventure.
We meet every day at 7:45 a.m. at our kitchen table. We try to end the meeting at 8 a.m. so we have to be very focused and stay on task.
Tammy is an accomplished bodybuilder and a fitness and nutrition consultant and coach. And I feel fortunate that she is helping me during this fitness program.
With her help I’m learning the importance of creating healthy habits to replace unhealthy ones.
I should also disclose that she has written a book about her fitness journey. Her book is titled “Lifting My Spirits” and it will be coming out in a few short weeks. I’ll provide details about where you can find out more when she is ready to launch and promote her book.
Tomorrow is Day 15 and my day to work out at the gym.
Not looking forward to it, but if I don’t do it, Coach is gonna have something to say about it! (Just kidding).
